We are the members in the QZ Collective Family. We’re a family with roots in Singapore, Malaysia, and China, embarking on a new chapter in the UK from Dec 2024. We launched this website and blog to document and explore our family’s passions: education, language, culture, and travel. We’d also share our reflections about our experience of family life as it is. Through our sharing, we aim to inspire and connect with families worldwide who are also actively seeking fulfilment in life.
Everyone in the QZ Collective Family contributes actively to this website and blog, with each person offering their own unique role and value. As we happily identify ourselves as multilinguals with a more liberal definition of language, you may find our content in various languages and varieties. No worries, we’d always have at least a simple abstract in English for common understanding.

Technical Leader of the Collective. Sharpening his animal instincts while cultivating the elegance of a knowledgeable royal. Currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Linguistics. He also operates a website for language educators and aims to strengthen his capacity in photography, philosophy and physical fitness.

Creative Leader of the Collective. Obsessed with reading and loves arts and craft. Rarely exercises, yet remains fit and tall. Though introverted and detail-oriented, her room is often a delightful chaos.

Presenter of the Collective. Known for her booming voice and playful spirit, she has an unexplainable passion for ballet and history. Compassionate and lovable, she dreams of having “kindness” as her superpower. She absolutely adores Hainanese chicken rice.

Presenter of the Collective. The remaining member with chubby cheeks in the family – and proud of it. Independent housework star and possesses a voice that enchants. She aspires to be a Michelin chef, though she is better known as a picky glutton for now.
